Le Chant Blanc
2023
This wine features a full, rich palate characterized by layered aromas
of stone fruit, orange blossom, and a subtle hint of white apple. It
maintains a harmonious interplay of oak, acidity, and fresh minerality
on the mid-palate. Harvested in February before the heavy rains, this
wine exudes richness and elegance in style.

Polkadraai vineyards face the Atlantic Ocean to the south and
south-east, thus being constantly fanned by cooling breezes.
The 35 year old vineyard naturally allows sufficient sunlight to
penetrate bunch zone, to ripen evenly.
Viticulture
The Blanc undergoes fermentation in small stainless steel
tanks. Following this, a portion of the wine spends 8 months
in French barrels, while the remainder stays in stainless steel
and cement tanks. After fermentation, the wine is blended
from the various fermentation vessels before being bottled.
