Enjoy this uniquely bold wine with Stilton or our winemaker’s favorite – venison sausage!Vintage Notes On the vine PV is a tiny grape that packs a punch and is typically slow to mature. The Indian summer of ’09 favored this grape and rewarded us with deep eggplant color and bold, black fruit flavor. Aromatics of red licorice, blackberry and blueberry are backed by sweet toasted oak. New French oak imparts a smooth, richness in the mouth. The flavor is intense bramble fruit at the core with secondary hints of violets, some cola and clove – nice long finish. The wine is well structured with just the right amount of tannin to hold up nicely – not too soft. Serve with beef steak topped with blue cheese crumbles or venison sausage. ” – Le Chateau Winery
