Description
The 2022 Chablis, Fourchaume, Héritage, 1er Cru, by Le Domaine d’Henri, comes from vines planted in 1937 in L’Ardillier, in the northern part of L’Homme Mort. It is aged 50% in barrel, with the rest in stoneware jars and tank. It has the feel of a Grand Cru: statuesque, authoritative, and rigorous—if a little monolithic for now.
