Description
Still red from Rioja, Spain, 13% ABV, produced by Lopez de Heredia. A Rioja Reserva that embodies the tradition and passion of a family that has been producing excellent wines since 1877. It all began in the mid-19th century, when French merchants visited the Rioja region to find alternative sources of quality grapes for wine, as phylloxera had decimated the vineyards. Our founder, Don Rafael López de Heredia y Landeta, an experienced and enthusiastic student of the art of winemaking, followed closely in their footsteps. Notes of vanilla and dried berry aromas on the nose. Vibrant red with slight amber hues. Rich, very dry, smooth, and developed. Firm tannins and good balance.
