With its deep ruby color, the Corton Grand Cru “Clos du Roi” 2022 has an intense nose of blackberry, cherry and licorice. The palate is full-bodied and delicious, with a strong cherry flavour. The tannins are elegant but very present. Nice length.
Pair with roasted hare, partridge, duck “à l’orange” and mature cheeses.

Rich and succulent, like biting into a crunchy cherry, this red also delivers blackberry, violet, stone and earth accents. Lithe and well-delineated, firming up on the long, tightly wound finish. Though more about the minerality and structure in the end, this is balanced and full of energy. Best from 2028 through 2047. 250 cases made, 60 cases imported.
