Description
The Stampede Vineyard has been core to the MDC lineup since the very beginning. This is the seventh vintage of this wine, and it is a perfect representation of what the winemakers were going for when making this wine. Picked on the 23rd of August and fermented half whole cluster in open top fermenters, this wine is textbook Stampede Zinfandel. Notes of peach yogurt and bramble but with that signature salty, savory tannin unique to this special vineyard. Great to drink now, but also great to age for 5-7 years.
