Still red wine from Valtellina Superiore Sassella, 13.5% ABV, produced by Mamete Prevostini. 100% Nebbiolo blend. 0.75 l bottle, 2022 vintage. A Nebbiolo that expresses the elegance and power of the Valtellina terroir, with a history that begins over seventy years ago. Location: Valtellina Superiore Sassella area, in the municipalities of Castione and Sondrio. Climate: Altitude: 350 – 550 m above sea level. Exposure: South. Soil composition: sandy (80%), loamy (20%), no limestone, flaked granite rock with rare clay. Harvest begins October 7th. Intense and refined aroma with hints of morello cherry, hazelnut, and small red fruits. Bright ruby red color. Harmonious, velvety, warm flavor, a wine that captivates with its complexity and persistence.
