Description
Still red wine from Burgundy, 13.5% ABV, produced by Maison Marchand-Tawse. Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, 2013 vintage. A wine that represents the excellence of Burgundy, with unique elegance and complexity. Destemming, 7 days of cold maceration, 2 daily “pigeage” operations at the beginning of alcoholic fermentation, then pumping over during maceration. Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels (30% new). No fining, no filtration. Complex aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, leather, and vanilla. Intense ruby red tending towards garnet. Exceptional on the palate, with a robust body and a pleasant smoothness. A wine that perfectly expresses its terroir, perfect for accompanying important dishes and unforgettable evenings.
