In fact, Chardonnay is a distant relative to Pinot Noir, so often times, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are grown together. We selected grapes primarily from the finest vineyards in cool-climate Monterey County. After harvest, the grapes were gently crushed and underwent two to three weeks of cool fermentationthat’s what makes it fresh! The wine was aged in French oak. After blending, we bottled it up and sent it off for you to enjoy! – Mark West
