Description
In ’91 I planted the first vineyard with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Syrah, with the aim of indulging both the well-established great expression of Bordeaux vines in Bolgheri, the all-Tuscan elegance of Sangiovese, and the all-Mediterranean complexity of Syrah. Since 2012, I have decided to label this wine as Superiore because after almost 20 vintages of this label, I am fully aware that the first intuition of blending well represents the Bolgheri appellation.
