Description
Named after the Arabic word for “clay”, it’s 100% Trebbiano, historic glorious Tuscan variety too often vilified by conventional vinifications, from biodynamic grapes on clay-limestone soils. It’s fermented in Spanish amphoras with a skin contact of about 6 months and emerges deeply soulful, elegant yet rustic orange wine. Dried hay, chamomile, smoked pineapple and buckwheat with sage and thyme.
