Trevor Mast was a legend of the Australian wine scene. Among his many accomplishments, he is most revered as a pioneer of cool climate Shiraz. The Mast Shiraz is our tribute to his memory, recognising his role in establishing the reputation of Mount Langi Ghiran. Thanks to his foresight, our vineyards showcase the ultimate expression of cool climate Shiraz.
Fruit for this wine is solely hand-picked and sourced exclusively from a single block on our Mount Langi Ghiran Estate Vineyard. This block was planted by Trevor Mast himself some 27 years ago.
With ripening drawn out, the fruit gained plenty of spice and a full basket of fruit flavours. Our Mast Shiraz shows great spice, elegant tannins and a firm acid drive.
