Description
Winemaker Notes
The winemaker used both cold tank fermentation and 14% barrel fermentation to maximize the overall fruit expression. The cold-fermentation in tank helps us maintain the pureness of fruit and aromatics, and barrel fermentation adds a subtle creaminess and
length.

90Tasting Panel
Sauvignon Blanc from California’s North Coast appellations seems to turn out best when vintners don’t try to wrestle the variety into a style reminiscent of either Sancerre or Marlborough. This is medium-bodied and fully ripe, thanks to all that California sun, with open fruits flavors including white melon. A beam of bright acidity shines through as a reminder of the variety despite the absence of notable grassiness or minerality.
