While the 2021 vintage was smaller in size in Napa Valley, we were extremely pleased with the vineyard in Oak Knoll AVA for our Rose and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Vineyard Notes
Situated on the west side of Napa Valley, midway between the city of Napa and of the town of Yountville, the Orchard 5 vineyard is a 8year old vineyard sits flat on the valley floor, and basks in full days of sun, unshaded from the surounding hillsides. Entirely planted to clone 4, it yields a lush, ripe, and fruit driven crop, composed of deep blue and red berry flavors.
Production Notes
Only 70 cases produced.
Winemaker Notes
The wine shows a deeper pink, toward garnet, than we aimed for, and has a rich comfortable hue. Floral nose, flawless in its purity. This wine captures the draw of Cabernet Sauvignon grape at its core. Very smooth, with bright and round acidity; and fully mouth-coating. Long finish, with subtle rich tannins. One of a kind! Sorry we did not produce more!
