Description
Still red Barolo Bussia DOCG, 14% vol, 100% Nebbiolo. Produced by Prunotto, a historic Piedmontese winery founded in 1904. 0.75 l bottle, 2021 vintage. A Barolo born in the heart of the Langhe, from grapes selected in the prestigious Bussia cru. Maceration lasts approximately 15 days, at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Aged partly in 50 Hl French oak barrels and partly in second-use barriques for 24 months. Further bottle ageing lasted 12 months and took place in the Prunotto cellars before shipping. Intense garnet red color with ruby reflections. Aroma of very ripe stone fruit, well-blended with floral and spicy notes. Intense flavor with sweet, enveloping tannins and a long aftertaste.
