Description
Still red Barolo DOCG, 14% ABV, 100% Nebbiolo, produced by Prunotto. 0.75 L bottle, 2020 vintage. A Barolo made in the small Serra vineyard, in the southern part of the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba, a wine that embodies the history and tradition of Piedmont. The 2020 vintage began with a mild winter and a sunny spring, which ensured an early and uniform vegetative recovery. Rainfall in May and June allowed for significant water accumulation in the soil, which, combined with the moderate summer temperatures, prevented water stress. The harvest took place on October 9th. This Barolo has an intense and fresh aromatic profile, with hints of red fruits, sage, and undergrowth, combined with floral sensations and notes of rose and violet.
