Another award winning red wine from a pluri-awarded wine maker, Roberto scubla. A blend of Merlot and Refosco del Peduncolo rosso fermented and aged in small oak barrels.
Rosso Scuro, dark red in Italian, is a red wine with an intense ruby colour and a nose with aromas of red fruits and spices with underlying hints of vanilla. Full bodied, in the mouth is structured, well balanced, velvety and persistent. This is red wine that wants to be decanted before being drunk.
The Rosso Scuro is a so called “Bordeaux blend” wine, where the international Merlot grape is blended to the Friuli native Refosco del Peduncolo Rosso grape
