Parcel origin: A blend of two lieux-dits: En Bœuf and La Rue au Port Parcel size: 1 hectare Grape variety: Pinot noir Soil type: Clay-limestone Planting years: 1948 for La Rue au Port and 1979 for En Bœuf Vinification and ageing: The Pinot Noirs are harvested in small crates to preserve the berries. After passing through a sorting table, the grapes are destemmed and placed in vats for 12 to 20 days. After pressing, the wine is matured in barrels for 12 to 14 months, of which 20% is new wood, and 2 to 3 months in vats, before being bottled by gravity, depending on the lunar calendar. Tasting notes: Fruity and floral on the nose. Well-balanced on the palate, with silky tannins. Best decanted in recent vintages. Serving temperature : 14 to 16 °C Drinking : 3 to 12 years
