Ruggeri winery is a fragrant, delicate and elegant sparkling wine, a type of
sparkling wine that boasts the Superiore designation. This
white grape is grown on
drained and
well-exposed soils, with classic cultivation and planting techniques, therefore, as required by the regulations, without forcing. Prosecco is the product of a 100% Glera
blend. Prosecco is produced using a white wine vinification process, that is, without the skins, at a controlled temperature of 16°C. The harvest takes place in September. After careful selection of the ripe bunches, the grapes are destemmed, pressed, and drained to completely eliminate the pomace. This is followed by clarification, decanting, filtration, and centrifugation, followed by fermentation of the grape juice and racking, which separates the wine from the lees. This is followed by the
second fermentation, which occurs through a slow
second fermentation of the wine in large, closed containers at a temperature ranging from 14°C to 15°C. The result is a stylish, elegant, highly aromatic, and well-balanced
