A still red from South Africa, 14.5% ABV, produced by Simonsig. 0.75 L bottle, 2018 vintage. A wine that embodies the history of the South African wine industry, with a family that has been producing excellent wines in the Stellenbosch region since 1970. On the nose, explosive aromas of dark berry fruit, blackberry, and black cherry, are complemented by sweet spices that lend refinement to this wonderfully complex wine.
