Perfectly balanced fruit with mouth-filling bubbles, nutty citrus fruit, rich mid-palate, and a long fresh finish. Not as toasty/yeasty as French Champagne but this wine has the complexity and balance of fine Champagne.
Weingut Steininger is a family run winery situated in the wine growing village of Langenlois in the Kamptal Valley. Grüner Veltliner represents over 50% of their production and can be found in different styles, from a light summer wine to powerful and full-bodied. The Steininger winery is also well known for their impressive sparkling wines, or Sekts, which are produced according to the traditional bottle fermenting method.
