This Dutchess Private Reserve Bourbon has been aged for a minimum of 5 years and has been finished for an additional 6 months in Napa Cabernet Wine Casks. The added complexity of this deep amber colored bourbon stems from the richness of the Napa Cabernet barrels. The nose yields notes of allspice, cheesecake and cabernet. The taste touches the front of your tongue with notes of caramel, oak, bananas foster and vanilla. The finish encompasses the body of the cabernet and heat that you’d expect from a 90 proof bourbon. Aged a minimum of 5 years and bottled at 90 proof.
