This is an equal blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Trincadeira, Tinto Roriz Tempranillo & Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in barrel for 6 months. Aromas of blueberries, mulberries and roses explode from the glass, leading into flavors of the same along with black truffle.All of those delicious aromas leave you a wine packed with blue and black fruit along with hints of truffles and a hint ofblack pepper. That black pepper and blackberry fruit is a characteristic of most Portugese reds, along with firm tannins. This is sturdy stuff and more than ready to stand up to big cuts of meat, pork and sausages.
