Description
Sicilian DOC still red wine, 14% ABV, 100% Nero d’Avola, produced by Orestiadi, 2023 vintage. A Nero d’Avola from the Belice Valley, in Gibellina, Sicily. Aged for 4 months in stainless steel and 8 months in French oak barriques, with at least 6 months in the bottle stored horizontally. Ample and elegant, enriched with mineral and wild berry notes complemented by delicate hints of morello cherry. Intense ruby red color with purple highlights. Delicate with soft, well-balanced tannins. The aftertaste is fruity, harmonious, long, and persistent. Excellent with aged cheeses, stewed meats, game, and red tuna sfincione.
