The resulting wines are interesting blends of distinct quality and character.About the Wine While working with our growers in the Napa Valley, we came across small, premium vineyard lots of Merlot, which served as our inspiration to create Thorn. The sources of Merlot were blended with Syrah to create depth in the body while Malbec accentuates the fruit.Winemaker Notes Aromas of savory spice, black cherry, and mocha with cedar and blackberry. The entry delivers an elegant balance with flavors of black plum and anise, along with hints of grilled rosemary and toasted oak.
