Tupa is a small, family-owned winery producing single vineyard wines use organically grown grapes from the Maipu region. Tupã (Spanish: Tupá) is the name of the supreme god for the Guarani people who live in Argentina. Tupa is also the word in the Gurani language that means “God”
Tupã is considered to be the creator of the universe, and more specifically the creator of light. His residence is the Sun and as such he is very much responsible for the amazing wines produced in Argentina today.

Organically Grown Grapes from one source at 2600 ft. in Maipu, Mendoza. Unoaked, aged in bottle for 6 months. 2017 is considered one of the best vintages in recent years, with generally warm and dry conditions. Cooler temperatures in the final two months lead to slightly lower alcohols and well preserved acidity.
The 2019 Tupa Malbec has a deep cherry color with elegant violet and ruby hues. Intense aromas of plums, black cherries and cherry jam. On the palate it is soft and round, well balanced with a long finish. Pair with hard cheeses, grilled or broiled meats and pasta with red sauce.
