Description
This château is above all a history about men and women, a family estate owned by the family Guimberteau which relies on the soil and the love of wine, a heritage that has been transmitted from generation to generation since 1923. The wines of the AOC Montagne Saint-Emilion are rich and powerful great wines for laying down.This is the heart of the production of this château with around 32ha operated.
Producer
Chateau Moulinat lies across the 2 communes of Lamarque and Cussac Fort Medoc at the mid point between the famous Growths of Margaux and Saint Julien. In the 19th Century, the Chateau was classified as a first Cru Artisan, with about 6 hectares of vines which produced 30 tonneaux (900 litre barrels) of excellent wine from Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot.
