Description
Viladellops Xarel·lo is a wine made from Xarello. This variety comes from two young vineyards which were planted in 2000 and 1993 on calcareous and clayey-calcareous soils. Harvesting is carried out manually, selecting the grapes in the vineyard and in the winery. After performing a pre-fermentation maceration process inside the press, with grapes that have been previously cooled in a cold chamber between 3 and 5ºC, they are left to ferment in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature of 16ºC. The wine keeps its fine lees until it is bottled.
