Volte-Face Reserva tinto is a full-bodied red wine from the beautiful and warm Alentejo area in Portugal. The wine is aged for 12 months on French and American oak. This gives the wine extra complexity.
Volte-Face reserva tinto has a luxurious and striking label with a mask on it. The name of the wine means ‘the other face’.
The female winemaker, Teresa Metelo Dias, wants to show her different face. She is a psychologist by origin. But her family has owned vineyards and made wine for years. That passion eventually made her decide to retrain as an agricultural engineer. With the aim of one day making wine yourself. And so her brand Volte-Face started and now she has her own wines.
The Volte-Face wines are produced in a limited edition. They also have a long storage potential.
