Description
Our Winemaker’s Red Blend is comprised of fruit from the mountains, ridges, hillsides, and benchlands of our Alexander Valley estate vineyards filled with a diverse array of soils rich in calcium, gravel, sand and clay. This charismatic and easy-drinking red is a blend of three grape varieties to create a wine with structured, elegant tannins. Aromas of black cherry, ripe plum, and violets, with a hint of toffee and black pepper. On the palate, currants and blackberries offer vibrant acidity with a soft, supple finish.
