Description
Yarden Merlot was produced from Merlot and a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon, all grown in the Golan Heights. The cool climate, rocky volcanic soil, and high altitude are ideal conditions for growing classic wine grape varieties. Aging in French oak barrels for fourteen months balances the existing orange zest and berry characters present in the wine with a layer of rich oak and vanilla.
