Description
Pintia is a generous expression of Tempranillo grown in a hot, dry climate. The 2018 is a slightly cooler vintage, and four years on the cork (bottled in June of 2019) has led to exceptionally creamy tannins with no shortage of fruit. Sourced from deceptively high vineyards (700m) with an average vine age of 34 years, Pintia continues to prove that high alcohol wines can, also, achieve balance. At 15% alcohol, it pulls out all the things we love about Tempranillo with its sleek dark fruits, intoxicating spice cake, purple flowers, and sweet fiery earth.
