THE CUVÉE
Owned by winegrowers who are literally passionate about their profession, their vines and the wine that comes from them, Château de Fieuzal undoubtedly deserves its status as a Grand Cru Classé of Graves. It is located on the terroir of Pessac-Léognan, reputed to produce wines of character that are always silky and with marked fruit. Cultivated according to reasoned principles, its vines draw the nutrients necessary for their development from a cut of gravel whose lean and well-draining soils favour the production of beautiful berries.
Whatever the year, the signed wine wins the good notes of tasters charmed by its substance and its chubby profile. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70% of the total), Merlot and Petit Verdot harvested by hand is the result of ageing for between 16 and 24 months in barrels with a proportion of new wood hovering around 50%.
Made for ageing, this dense and generous wine is nevertheless enlivened by a fresh finish.
