Description
Charles Thomas Cotes du Rhone is produced at Clos des Miran, located in the plains of Mas Conil, in Pont Saint Esprit in the Gard district. The property is located on a hillside of very deep loamy and sandy soil. The land is tilled with horse-drawn plows to preserve its essential qualities and respect the environment. The vineyard is planted with syrah, grenache, mourvedre, carignan and viognier. The estate is certified organic in France since the 2014 vintage.
Very charming pale rose color. The wine displays lots of fresh fruit aromas such as strawberry and watermelon. The palate is focused and very well balanced with again some strawberry and ripe red fruit notes. The finish is quite pleasing and long with a little spiciness and freshness to it.
