Description
Organic still red wine from Tuscany IGT, 14% ABV, produced by Col d’Orcia. Blend: 50% Merlot, 28% Syrah, 22% Petit Verdot. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. An intense, broad, and rich wine that expresses the excellence of the Tuscan terroir. Separate fermentation of the varietals in stainless steel vats. Maceration lasts approximately 12-14 days at a controlled temperature of 25°C. Malolactic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks. First racking directly into barriques. Aged in French oak barriques for 24 months. Fruity aromas emerge, particularly blackberry, along with spicy and vanilla notes that lead to balsamic tones typical of the cultivars. On the palate, it is enveloping, with excellent tannins and good acidity, and an elegant finish.
