There’s a delightful seashell edge to the very ripe red fruit aromas, as well as hints of lightly polished oak and a myriad of pressed flowers. But you need to dig in because it’s still quite closed. Full and very silky with fine, firm tannins that are beginning to integrate with the fruit. Long, balanced finish that will only expand with time. A classy Barolo that’s delicious to drink now, if you like your Barolo on the firm side, but will delight everyone from 2025. (
