Description
A still red from the heart of Tuscany, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, 13% ABV, produced by Castelgiocondo – Frescobaldi. 100% Sangiovese, 0.75L bottle, 2024 vintage. A wine born from the passion and history of one of the oldest families of Italian wine. Aged partly in Slavonian oak barrels and partly in barriques for 12 months. The nose opens with an intense and varied bouquet dominated by ripe red fruit such as blackberry and plum, followed by mineral and slightly spicy notes. Intense ruby red color with purple hues. The body is lovely, balanced, and very smooth, with high acidity and smooth tannins.
