Description
Still red Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese, 12.5% ABV, produced by Giorgi. 0.75 L bottle, 2024 vintage. A wine that speaks of a family’s passion for viticulture, with roots dating back to 1875. The grapes are hand-harvested in the second ten days of September. After destemming and crushing, fermentation takes place in automated fermenters with maceration of the grapes at 28-30°C for 8-10 days. Malolactic fermentation is complete. Aged for 6 months in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Deep ruby red in color with violet and purple highlights. Intense and elegant with fruity aromas of morello cherry, almond, and fresh fruit. Dry, mellow, with good structure and persistence. Perfect with cured meats, savory pasta dishes, and red meats.
