Description
A still white wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 12.5% ABV, produced by Jermann. A Vintage Tunina in a magnum format, an iconic wine that has made Italian winemaking history, a blend of Chardonnay, Malvasia Bianca, Ribolla Gialla, and Sauvignon Blanc. The Guyot-Cappuccina training system is used, with 6,000-7,000 vines per hectare and a yield of 40-60 quintals. The name Tunina refers to the former owner of the land on which the original vineyard is located and is dedicated to Casanova’s poorest lover, a governess in Venice who, precisely, was also called Tunina (Antonia). Part of the fermentation takes place in 80-hectoliter wooden barrels and part in steel. Aging: Part in 80-hectoliter wooden barrels and part in steel, where it ages for nine months before bottling. Aged in glass for approximately 7 months. The aroma is intense, broad, very elegant, and persistent, with hints of honey and wildflowers. Bright straw yellow with golden highlights. The flavor is dry, smooth, and very harmonious, with exceptional persistence due to its particularly full body.
