Still red Chianti Riserva DOCG, Tuscany, 13.5% ABV, 85% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot, produced by Cantine Leonardo da Vinci. 0.75 L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Chianti Riserva that celebrates the Tuscan terroir, with a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot that expresses the region’s tradition and excellence. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at 28-29°C for 12-14 days. Aged in French oak barrels for 10 months. On the nose, hints of ripe fruit, such as cherry and currant, are enhanced by a light spiciness of vanilla and cinnamon. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and balanced acidity. Enjoyable finish with good length. Ideal with first courses with meat-based sauces and grilled meats.
