The fermentation process extends over about 20 days in steel tanks, after which the grape must is poured into new French oak barrels and aged for another 24 months. The wine is then bottled and aged further.

Bicento 53 offers an intense ruby red colour in the glass – almost black. Incredibly inviting aroma that offers a concentrated palette of sun-ripened dark plums, blackberries, blueberries, cherries and notes of spices, white pepper, vanilla and licorice. The taste is simply in a league of its own. A taste barometer that is intense, slightly sweet and structured. Its mouth offers concentrated dark berry fruits, figs, sun-ripened cherries and wonderful notes of white pepper, vanilla and a bit of smoke. A full-bodied and intense mouthful that puts all taste buds working overtime, while your brain tries to categorize the many aromatic layers that go on indefinitely. It is an intense, bold and very full-bodied red wine, where the acidity and velvety tannins provide a fantastic contrast to the intense fruit sweetness. A wine in distinguished balance, well-structured and inviting.
