Around 85% of the grapes for this wine were sourced from Nitida farm itself, with the balance coming from the neighboring farms, to bring more complexity to this example of Durbanville terroir.
A dazzling dance of nectarine, pawpaw and pink fleshy guava envelops the palate, as hints of orange orchid and white pepper spice swoop in for the finale.
“Open-knit and expressive on the nose, the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of fresh gooseberry with a subtle herbal edge before giving up a pithy grapefruit and citrus blossom essence. Medium-bodied, the wine is zippy and energetic on the finish, ending with a clean, correct and citrus-driven finish that is uncomplicated and delivers pleasure with lingering flavors of grapefruit and melon. – Anthony Mueller”
