A particular and distinct geographic mosaic from the Napa Valley is Palermos signature. Now in its fifth year of production, our mantra of separate among equal parts is sustained through careful vineyard sourcing and reverence during blending trials. Furnished with a broad cache of covetable soil profiles and microclimates , it is our most diversified wine from our Cabernet Sauvignon program. Following a much -lauded vintage, the 2013 harvest exhibited equallydistinguished results by rejecting and even thriving off the California drought through vineyard endurance. The results of which are supremely complex and profound flavors in t he glass.Winemaker’s Notes A dense plum, red visage brilliantly precedes the t asting. Multidimensional aromatics of cassis, currant, mulled dark fruits, and toasty barrique oak perfume the glass.Opulent and rich, the wine explodes with concentrated flavors of black cherry, ripe boysenberry, assorted dark fruits, kirsch, and a top note of dark roasted espresso. A persuasive mid palate persists with freshness and closes with supportive tannins that are velvety and polished. – Orin Swift
