Description
Still red from Piedmont, Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC, 13% ABV, produced by Sordo Giovanni, 2020 vintage. A wine that tells the story of a family, now in its fourth generation, that has cultivated the vineyard with passion since 1912. Produced in the Roero region, Vigna Valmaggiore. Destemming, soft pressing, and fermentation at approximately 28°C in stainless steel tanks, followed by maceration. Aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for at least 9 months, followed by brief bottle aging before release. Its aromas are delicate, ethereal, intense, rounded, and persistent. Garnet red in color with orange hues. The flavors are warm, full-bodied, complex, dry, and harmonious. Ripe, complex tannins make Nebbiolo a powerful wine.
